Our products:

Ubiquity’s products are focused on applications that require high solar energy to electricity conversion efficiency.

Our PV technology products offer more power measured in watts per square meter and better energy production performance. Ubiquity products produce more kWh per kWp of rated capacity.

Ubiquity’s III-V PV has the highest power to weight ratio in the industry of over 800Wp/kg. This offers a significant advantage in weight sensitive applications like flight integrated PV. DOWNLOAD THE DATA SHEET.

The combination of these features create more cost effective solutions for our customers. Ubiquity is committed to ethically produced low carbon solar.

  1. Silicon PV (Si-PV) High Efficiency Power Generation

  2. Flight-Integrated PV (FIPV)

  3. Vehicle Integrated PV (VIPV)

 1. High efficiency power generation: silicon-based PV (Si-PV) modules.

Delivering high efficiency power generation through advanced silicon-based PV (Si-PV) modules.

Ubiquity’s proprietary solar technology and manufacturing process allows for best-in-class power, performance, and reliability for a variety of traditional power generation applications.

 2. FIPV: high efficiency thin-film III-V modules for customer specific FIPV applications.

Flight-integrated PV is a growing market segment with the rise of autonomous drones and mission-critical satellites delivering 5G communications to the world. Ubiquity is working with major companies in these fields to custom engineer and produce thin-film III-V PV to meet our customers’ requirements and specific applications. please see [link to Tech Brief]

3. VIPV: vehicle-integrated photovoltaic.

Vehicle integrated PV , like FIPV, is growing at a rapid pace with the rise of EVs. Leveraging PV technology embedded directly in an electric vehicle can extend battery range and provide additional power for auxiliary systems. Ubiquity estimates that on average, 25% of the energy consumed in an EV could be provided by high-efficiency PV, embedded in the vehicle. Ubiquity is developing tandem SiGaAs-PV cells for future EVs while delivering solutions today based on current Ubiquity GaAs-PV technology.
